RAD examinations are an excellent goal for the young dancer to work towards giving them the opportunity to achieve within a worldwide organisation.
Classes are available for all dancers aged 4 and over, importantly UCAS points are awarded from Grade 6 and upwards.
Pointe Classes
Going on pointe is a most exciting time for a young dancer, we have specific pointe work classes to allow the dancer to develop this skill correctly.
Jazz is a high energy lesson which demands the dancer to use their bodies in a totally different way to their ballet lessons.
We also focus on the flexibility and encourage a well limbered physique, learning jazz alongside ballet evolves a well rounded dancer.
Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Two major variations on tap dance exist: rhythm (jazz) tap and broadway tap.
Broadway tap focuses on dance; it is widely performed in musical theatre, rhythm tap focuses on musicality.
